I currently work on the Linux Kernel PE team, making sure we’re shipping kernels and kernel features safely and quickly.

In the past I’ve worked on a variety of teams and technologies across Meta:

  • 2025 - present - Linux Kernel
  • 2023 – 2025: Platform Security - Foundational security protecting Meta’s production network from its corporate network.
  • 2019 – 2023: Vulnerability Management: Platform - Tooling and infrastructure to identify, track and surface vulnerabilities at huge scale across Meta’s range of products and infrastructure.
  • 2017 – 2019: Virtualization Infra - Built a platform and tooling for host virtualisation used by thousands of developers at Meta.

Infrastructure Engineer @ Ensighten

April 2015 – March 2017, various remote locations (mostly London)

Building CI/CD infrastructure and bespoke deployment software for a company of hundreds of engineers at Ensighten. Worked with tools like Terraform, Puppet, Ansible and others to “automate all the things” in close collaboration with developer teams.

Worked on maintaining several Python-based services as well as some JavaScript integrations, server monitoring and maintenance.

Developed a high-performance data aggregator in C++ to produce easily-digestible data for a JavaScript dashboard to enable the Google Ads SREs to monitor trends in their data over time.

July 2012 – September 2012, Kraków, Poland

Migrated a legacy C++ search engine for an internal tool to a more robust and maintainable Java system, with an aim to enable improved reliability, test coverage and code sharing.

Systems Administrator @ Netsoc (TCD)

June 2011 – June 2014, Dublin, Ireland

Systems Administrator for Netsoc, Trinity College’s Internet Society. Maintained several GNU/Linux servers, which provided services such as e-mail, website hosting, shell accounts, chat services and online game servers to members of the college.
